Tarvin Realtors 2007 Salesperson of the Year. Barbara has been a welcome member of the Tarvin team since January, 1994. A consistent top performer, she has been awarded the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, as well as the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. She regularly attends a variety of Real Estate courses and seminars to remain on the cutting edge of her industry. Interestingly, Barbara literally “grew up in the business” as the daughter of a successful Real Estate Broker in Shaker Heights, OH, a town very similar to Ridgewood. Prior to becoming a real estate professional, Barbara enjoyed success as a Sales and Marketing Executive with a major Fiber Producer and Designer Sportswear Company. She resides in Ridgewood with her husband, Art. They have two boys, Brett who just graduated from Denison University and Scott, age 19, who is a sophomore at the University of Richmond. Barbara serves on the Central Board of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary and on their Ridgewood Branch Board.
