Maryon Van Tassel-Clark
REALTOR ® Associate
Maryon is a licensed real estate sales associate with Tarvin Realtors. Her professional background is in public relations and marketing communications. She followed a career path that included employment at Revlon as the Director of the Revlon Foundation and Corporate Communications Manager. She also developed and implemented strategic public relations and marketing communications programs while working for Hill and Knowlton and Johnson & Johnson. As her family grew, Maryon began working with agency and corporate clients as a consultant, allowing her to continue to develop programs that she believes help to educate patients and make a difference in their lives.
Maryon has deep roots within the Village of Ridgewood. Her father, the late Judge Edward Van Tassel was a lifelong resident of Ridgewood and served as the Commissioner of the Police and Fire Department. Her mother, Jane Van Tassel, also grew up in Ridgewood. She was a journalist and the head of the business and economy section of Time magazine. She also contributed her time and talents as a member of the Board of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, College Club of Ridgewood and the Ridgewood Women’s Club. Maryon’s paternal and maternal grandparents were loyal Ridgewood residents who also lived their lives in the Village. With so much history it was natural that Maryon and her husband Bob, raised their four children, Alexandra, Matt, Chris and Janie in the town she grew up in and has always loved.
After selling her own home, Maryon decided to invest her time and interest in marketing and selling real estate. She is excited to be part of Tarvin Realtors. She is professional, knowledgeable, offers sound advice to clients and is an effective negotiator.
