Due to its convenient location and size, there are always plenty of things to do in Bergen County for families. With the days getting longer and the weather getting warmer, you might be tempted to partake in some outdoor activities, but summer isn’t quite here yet. While you eagerly await its arrival, why not keep yourself busy with some exciting, family-friendly adventures? For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of special events taking place this spring that you (and the kids) won’t want to miss.
Those looking for the Easter Bunny can find Peter Cottontail himself at various locations around Bergen County throughout late March and early April. There are also countless Easter egg hunts taking place throughout the county. One such event is the “SpEGGtacular Hunt” at the Bergen County Zoo, which also features storytelling and crafts for the whole family. Another popular destination is Abma’s Farm for their annual “Chicks and Bunnies Event.” Taking place in the greenhouses, this even gives children the opportunity to interact with farm-raised chicks and bunnies, take photos and meet the Easter Bunny. If you’re looking for something a bit closer to home, we encourage you to check your local news and community papers.
