An Autumn Afternoon of Jazz
Jazz lovers and anyone who just generally appreciates good music will be thrilled to hear that sounds of six renowned jazz artists in Ridgewood's neighboring town of Paramus. The following musicians will be performing:

Allendale Festival Day & Car Show
This is a can't-miss event not only for car lovers of all types, but also for families with young children. The annual event features a show and shine of both classic and new model automobiles, including motorcycles and trucks. There is also a street fair and a wide variety of food vendors, live music performances, magicians, and animals as part of the petting zoo. For Ridgewood residents, it's definitely worth the 15-minute drive to Allendale to attend this fun-filled festival! Enjoy family-friendly outdoor fun at the historic Garretson Forge & Farm in Fair Lawn, NJ. Not only will you get a free tour of the Dutch Colonial homestead and farm, but you can also enjoy open hearth cooking with 19th century recipes, late summer vegetables and organic herbs from the farm, a myriad of children's activities, and civil war reenactors.

Food Truck & Music Festival
A brand new festival featuring a plethora of food trucks selling a wide range of dishes hits Wyckoff this October. Among the trucks are Callahan's, Oink and Moo, Rolling Pia, and Off The Hook. Not only that, but there's also live music courtesy that Ray Longchamp Band and kids can enjoy all sorts of games thanks to the Entertainment on Wheels child amusement center!

It wouldn't be October in Ridgewood without an Oktoberfest event! This year, there are a few different events throughout Bergen County, but in Ridgewood you can have a great time at the Stable and celebrate Oktoberfest by eating all sorts of food and drinking an extremely wide selection of beer. This event is also family friendly, as there will be entertainment options for children, along with a 50/50 raffle and live music.

Halloween Haunted Harvest
Save the date for Ridgewood's Halloween Haunted Harvest in the park! Wear your costume, walk through the haunted graveyard, try to navigate your way through the hay maze, and explore the pumpkin patch. There's also a Halloween parade and prizes for the best costume. This is a great family-friendly Halloween event.
