Franklin Lakes Community Center,

Franklin Lakes Nature Perserve 1 Nature Preserve Way, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 (Entrance off High Mountain Rd). The Borough of Franklin Lakes acquired the Nature Preserve in 2006. It was formerly a water shed and reservoir owned by the town of Haledon. The former reservoir was created by damming part of the Molly Ann Brook. The Original dam construction was completed in 1919. The dam is 25 feet high, 625 feet long and is 407 feet above sea level. The water surface area in the Preserve is 75 acres with a depth up to 20 feet. The total recreational area of the Preserve in Franklin Lakes is 120 acres.
Parsons Pond Park was acquired by the Borough in 2016. The 84 acre park features open fields, a baseball/softball field, ponds and streams, and walking paths through natural wooded areas, with ample parking.
