Giving Tuesday is around the corner on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, so this is the time to start considering which local non-profits to support this year. Ridgewood is home to a diverse collection of non-profit organizations, providing access to art, education, athletics, assistance for families, and so much more. Our agents have all of the key details on five local Ridgewood non-profits that would welcome your assistance on Giving Tuesday.

  Help fight food insecurity when you support Table to Table. This non-profit's mission is to fight hunger while reducing food waste. Table to Table "rescues" food that would otherwise be wasted at places like supermarkets and restaurants and delivers it the same day to those in need. Many of our agents participate in this worthy cause and so can you. Volunteer or learn about other ways to give. 
  
  
• Social Services of Ridgewood - 6 Station Plaza, Ridgewood, NJ 07450
  Social Services of Ridgewood is another organization Tarvin agents proudly support. This non-profit has been helping residents of Ridgewood and the surrounding areas for more than 100 years with food, emergency rent, utility assistance, and support services. This holiday season, help support the organization by giving Target gift cards or making a monetary donation to help families in need.
   
  
• RHS Jamboree Scholarship Fund – 143 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07451
  The RHS Jamboree Scholarship Fund has been providing opportunities for local students to continue their education for more than 70 years through merit-based scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Most of the funds for these scholarships are raised through the annual Jamboree event, a live fundraising performance put on by members of the non-profit and other community members. You can support the cause by making a donation, buying tickets to this year's Jamboree, advertising in the program, or becoming a sponsor of the event.
